‘Gutta’ is the sophomore release from the Philadelphia-based band XPresidents that screams one thing – Hungry…This band is hungry, and they’re making the climb straight out of the gutta. It is a raw and un-cut look into the environment that fosters greatness.
The XPRESIDENTS are an original fusion of rock, hip-hop, jazz, funk, reggae, neo-soul, and they play live. Made up of five Philly musicians, the band is committed to writing honest original music – with no rules or labels.
While the band as a unit is new, the musicians that make it up have been in the game for a long time with experiences that include performing at major festivals like CMJ, SXSW, as well as venues such as Rockwood Music Hall (NYC), Public Assembly (NYC), Seacrets (OCMD) The Trocadero, World Café Live, Theater of the Living Arts and the Kimmel Center to name a few.
